General Purpose of the Position

Under the supervision of our School Principal, the School Administrator supports various administrative tasks, contributing significantly to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the school.

Main Responsibilities of the Position

1.School Management

  • Assists the School Principal in the planning, organizing, coordinating, administrating, and managing of school activities and programs;
  • Coordinates the daily operation of the school's attendance program and security functions;
  • Develops weekly class schedules;
  • Prepares purchase requests as per JRS requirements for the school's materials;
  • Prepares stationery and educational materials for students and teachers;
  • Monitors the educational materials in the school ;
  • Prepares teachers' timesheets;
  • Coordinates with bus drivers, and manages the students bus list;
  • Plans and organizes daily and weekly work in coordination with the School Principal, including a weekly short meeting;
  • Monitors the playground when required;
  • Prepares and tracks distribution lists for items distributed in schools (e.g., bags, water bottles);
  • Supervises support staff (cleaners and guard).

2.Educational

  •  Inputs the registration, enrollment, and monthly attendance data into the computer;
  •  Supports the School Principal in meetings with parents of students ;
  •  Participates in the scheduling and organizing of exams .

3.School Environment

  • Coordinates the daily operation of the school’s attendance program;
  • Monitors students achievements with test results and other records;
  • Works with the School Principal to establish a safe and secure learning environment for students and teachers;
  • Maintains effective working relationships with others.

Qualifications, Skills, and Personal Attributes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or any other related field; 
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset;
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as familiarity with basic computer programmes;
  • Good verbal and written communication skilss; 
  • Strong organizational and team working skills;
  • Good cultural awareness and sensitivity;
  • Highly approachable, and maintains confidentiality;
  • Fluency in Arabic and basic knowledge of English are required.
