Objective 1: Conduct Speech and Language Therapy assessments to children of all ages.
Use quantitative and qualitative assessments to assess the children’s speech and language skills.
Write individualized Speech and Language Therapy Reports to include the outcome and results of the assessment and the targeted objectives.
Share and explain the Assessment Reports including the learner’s progress with the Inclusion Officer, other therapists and caregivers.
Objective 2: Conduct Speech and Language Reeducation sessions
Conduct reeducation sessions to children of different ages and various types of functional limitation targeting objectives identified in the assessments.
Share sessions outcomes with caregivers and engage them in the therapeutic follow up of their child.
Objective 3: Provide tips and recommendations to support each child.
Support caregivers with recommendations related to language development that are tailored based on each child’s assessment.
Share tips and recommendations on individualized adaptations with the inclusion officer to support the child’s academic pathway and learning skills.
Assess and identify other needs of referral to the child: specialized services, assistive devices, medical referrals.
