**نظرة عامة على البرنامج:**
يهدف برنامج “دراسة” و”مكان”، الممول من اليونيسف، إلى توفير مسارات تعليمية متعددة ومرنة للأطفال غير الملتحقين بالمدارس، والتي تستجيب لاحتياجات كل طفل التعليمية الفردية. سيتم تنفيذ البرنامج في المدارس الخاصة وشبه الخاصة ومراكز المجتمع، ويستهدف الأطفال غير الملتحقين بالمدارس ودعم الاحتفاظ بالطلاب الذين تم تسجيلهم بالفعل في المدارس.
**نطاق العمل:**
مسؤول اللغة الإنجليزية مسؤول عن تطوير وتنفيذ وتعزيز برامج المناهج الدراسية للغة الإنجليزية. يشمل ذلك إنشاء المحتوى التعليمي، تدريب المعلمين، وضمان دمج عناصر التعلم الاجتماعي والعاطفي ضمن منهج اللغة الإنجليزية.
**المسؤوليات الرئيسية:**
– تطوير نطاق وتسلسل المناهج الدراسية لمراحل التعليم الأساسي (الصفوف 1-6) بناءً على أفضل الممارسات الدولية وتكييفها مع السياق اللبناني.
– إنشاء دروس نموذجية باستخدام أساليب تدريس منظمة تتناسب مع نطاق وتسلسل المناهج.
– التعاون في تحديد موارد وموارد إلكترونية للغة الإنجليزية للطلاب والمعلمين في المراحل الابتدائية.
– دمج عناصر التعلم الاجتماعي والعاطفي في خطط الدروس النموذجية.
– أداء مسؤوليات إضافية كما هو محدد.
**المؤهلات المطلوبة:**
– درجة بكالوريوس أو ما يعادلها في تعليم اللغة الإنجليزية، مع التركيز على التعليم الابتدائي.
– إتقان اللغة الإنجليزية تحدثًا وكتابة.
– خبرة لا تقل عن 7 سنوات في تدريس وتصميم المناهج الدراسية للصفوف 1-6 باللغة الإنجليزية في لبنان.
– معرفة بالمنهج الوطني للغة الإنجليزية والسياسات التعليمية ذات الصلة.
– معرفة بأنظمة التقييم القائمة على الفصل الدراسي.
– الطلاقة في اللغة الإنجليزية، ومعرفة باللغة العربية ميزة إضافية.
– القدرة على السفر داخل لبنان لحضور المؤتمرات/الاجتماعات/التدريب/زيارة المدارس.
– القدرة على التعامل مع مهام متعددة والمرونة في التعامل مع متطلبات المشاريع.

The UNICEF-funded “Dirasa Program” & “Makani Program”, aims to create for out-of-school children, multiple pathways that are flexible and responsive to each child’s unique learning needs. The program will be implemented in private /semi-private schools, community centers and is estimated to target out of school children and Retention support for students who are already enrolled in schools.
Scope:
The English Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing the English language programs and curriculum. This includes creating educational content, training teachers, and ensuring the integration of social and emotional learning elements within the English curriculum.
Main Responsibilities
The English Officer should have a focus on primary school education in English, be able to create scope and sequences, lesson plans, and classroom-based assessments, and have knowledge of national curriculum and policies for English in Lebanon.
The English Officer will also work closely with the SEL Specialists to ensure social and emotional learning is embedded in the English curriculum. The English Officer will be able to:
• Co-develop scope and sequence for English grades 1 – 6 based on international best practices and adapt scope and sequence to the Lebanese context
• Develop model lessons, using structured pedagogy that fit within the scope and sequence.
• Collaborate on locating English resources and e- resources for primary grades students and teachers
• Embed elements of social and emotional learning into model lesson plans.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in English education, with a focus on primary school education
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Minimum 7 years’ experience teaching and designing curricula for grades 1-6 English in Lebanon
• Knowledge of national English curriculum and policies in English
• Knowledge of classroom-based assessment systems
• Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
• Able to travel in Lebanon for conferences/meetings/training/school visits.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and flexibility with project demands
