The Lebanese Council to Resist Violence Against Woman (LECORVAW) is a non-governmental organization working for the purpose of fighting and resisting all forms of Violence Against Women (VAW) and Gender Based Violence (GBV) in Lebanon. Back in 1997 LECORVAW was established by a group of social activists which saw the need to make a stand and stop all forms of violence and discrimination against women, by 1999 LECORVAW had two Listening and Counselling Centres operating in both Beirut and Tripoli fully equipped and ready to receive Women survivors of VAW & GBV and their children and provide them with free social, mental and legal services.
About the job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced first aid trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and delivering first aid training courses to groups in a variety of settings.Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Plan and deliver first aid training courses for individuals and groups, using a variety of teaching methods and materials
- Assess the needs of beneficiaries and develop customized training programs to meet their specific requirements
- Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, handouts, and visual aids
- Keep up-to-date with developments in first aid practice and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of training and provide reports as required
- Manage and maintain training equipment and facilities
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you:
Qualifications:
- Certified FA Trainer
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering first aid training courses.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements:
The job may require standing for extended periods of time, lifting and carrying equipment, and being able to demonstrate first aid techniques.. Moreover, we also expect the following:
Working Conditions:
The job may require working in Akkar and Tripoli. The work environment may include a variety of settings, such as classrooms, workplaces, and outdoor locations.
