الوصف:
-Function responsibilities include:
- Carry out the functions and tasks associated to nursing i.e. perform as a nurse or anesthetist, whenever required or needed, in order to optimize the resources, contributing with his/her knowledge and experience.
- Implement all the protocols and hygiene procedures, and supervise his/her team follow the same standards, in order to warrant the quality of the care and service in his/her speciality.
- Organize and coordinate the activities of his/her team (week’s schedule, annual leave, absences, etc.), evaluate their performance and define and ensure the needs for training of staff, in order to ensure the coverage of the human resources needs and maintain high standards of quality.
- Carry out and/or supervise the ( decentralized) pharmacy and medical equipment management (drugs orders, follow-up of the stock, storage conditions, inventories, follow-up of expired drugs and their destruction, drugs consumption, etc.)in his or her department, in order to satisfy the needs of material with efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensuring that all staff using medical devices are qualified and trained. Ensuring that cleaning and minor maintenance tasks are performed according to the protocols. Reporting any malfunction to the project biomedical service.
- Carry-out and/or coordinate administrative (exit-paper, transfer-paper, etc.), information and data collection (patient files, forms, statistics, etc.) tasks, and elaborate regular reporting, in order to have updated and reliable information about the day-to-day activity in the project, output/ outcome and support decision-taking.
- Give feedback/ reports to medical focal point.
-Specific activities:
- Tracking and reporting refusals of referral and incidents in the clinic using dedicated tool(s)
- Ensuring coordination of referrals from Arsal with the referral nurse and filling his gap if needed
- Timely Reporting challenges/concerns to NAM
- Supporting “Wear with Care” and “Digital Therapeutics” initiatives and other upcoming initiatives
- Organizing bi-monthly/monthly team meeting with the support of NAM
- Actively participating in medical meetings
- Participating in the Plan of Action (PoA) and Mid-Year Review (MYR) processes
- Supervise epidemiological surveillance activities within the clinic in collaboration with the isolation room nurse
- Contributes to the preparation and monitoring of pharmacy orders and consumption in differents units
- Works closely with the medical team (NCD, doctors, paediatricians, etc.) on patient orientaton, care and appointments
- Collaborates closely with the IPC supervisor on improving the quality of care and infection control in the clinic
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary activities such as PSEC in collaboration with other departments (HP, MH…)
- Monitor the clinic's stationary orders
-Required qualification:
Education
- Essential: Recognized nursing degree, diploma, in Science of Nursing
- Desirable: Bachelor's or master’s degree in Science of Nursing from a recognized university
- Essential: Ministry of Public Health practice license as Nurse in Lebanon
- Essential: Certificate of registration at the order of nurse in Lebanon
Experience
- Essential: 2 years of previous work experience
- Essential: 1 year of previous work experience in a managerial or Supervisory position in a Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) having NCD component or Hospital setting.
- Desirable: Previous experience with Local or International Non-governmental organizations (NGO’s)
Languages
- Essential: Full professional proficiency of the Arabic and English language
- Desirable: Elementary to limited professional proficiency of the French language
Knowledge
- Essential: Intermediate or Advanced computer literacy using MS-office applications (including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook, …)
