I- Introduction:
The Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) is a Lebanese NGO registered at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities under no. 1186 on 18 June 2014 that aims to expand, manage, and protect Lebanon’s forests and landscapes through a community-based approach. We work on building resilient communities to environmental threats, increasing environmental awareness and education, advocating for forest conservation, and advancing research in the forestry field.
II- Purpose of the position:
LRI is offering an internship opportunity under the Fundraising department. The candidate will receive guidance and support from the Fundraising department and will assist in implementing strategic campaigns, creating engaging content, and contributing to initiatives aimed at promoting LRI's mission and fundraising efforts.
III-Tasks & Responsibilities:
The Marketing intern is expected to perform the following duties:
- Conduct research on target audiences, donor demographics, and current market trends to inform marketing strategies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to drive fundraising goals.
- Analyze marketing campaign data to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in promoting fundraising events through various marketing channels.
- Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the organization's brand image through marketing efforts.
- Conduct outreach to potential donors, sponsors, and partners to increase awareness and support for fundraising initiatives.
- Provide support in various marketing-related tasks as needed by the team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
IV-Requirements and skills
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and conveying marketing messages.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and materials.
- Willingness to take initiative and actively contribute to marketing projects.
- Ability to work well within a team and support collaborative efforts.
- Understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and online advertising.
- Proficiency in creating engaging written and visual content for various marketing platforms.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple marketing tasks and meet deadlines.
