تؤكد مصادر نقدية ومصرفية مطلعة لـ”المركزية” أن سعر الصرف سيبقى ثابتاً ومستقراً، وذلك للأسباب التالية:
１- تحكم مصرف لبنان بلعبة سوق القطع وإمساكه بيد من حديد لعدم التلاعب به من قبل بعض الصيارفة، وقد حاول البعض بث الشائعات عن إمكانية اهتزازه فكان مصرف لبنان بالمرصاد .
وكان الاجتماع بين رئيس حكومة تصريف الاعمال نجيب ميقاتي وحاكم مصرف لبنان بالانابة وسيم منصوري للاطلاع على التدابير التي اتخذها مصرف لبنان لضبط ثبات سعر الصرف .
２- ضخ ٢٠٠مليون دولار خلال هذا الشهر من خلال التعميم الذي اصدره مصرف لبنان بتسديد ٣ أشهر للمستفيدين من التعميمين ١٥٨و١٦٦ وهذا المبلغ يريح السوق النقدية، إذ ان المستفيدين من التعميمين سيعمدون الى صرفها في السوق وتحريك الدورة الاقتصادية التي بدأت تعاني من الحرب وتداعياتها.
وهذا المبلغ سيتم توزيعه من الاحتياطي الالزامي والمصارف مناصفة .
３- ارتفاع نسبة الدولرة في البلد الى اكثر من ٩٠ في المئة بعدما تحوّلت كلفة الخدمات والمشتريات وحتى الضرائب والرسوم من الليرة الى الدولار.
４- استمرار مصرف لبنان في تجفيف الليرة اللبنانية حيث تراجعت الكتلة النقدية من ٧٥ ألف مليار ليرة الى ٥٧ ألفاً.

Sources familiar with the monetary and banking sectors confirm to “Al-Markazia” that the exchange rate will remain stable for the following reasons:
1. **Central Bank's Control**: The Banque du Liban (BDL) is firmly controlling the currency market to prevent manipulation by some money changers. Despite rumors about potential fluctuations, the BDL has been vigilant in maintaining stability. A recent meeting between caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and the interim Governor of the BDL, Wassim Mansouri, focused on the measures taken to ensure the stability of the exchange rate.
2. **Injection of $200 Million**: The BDL is injecting $200 million this month through a circular that allows beneficiaries of circulars 158 and 166 to receive three months' payments. This influx is expected to ease liquidity in the market as beneficiaries will convert these funds into cash, helping stimulate an economy already suffering from the war and its repercussions. This amount will be sourced from the mandatory reserve and distributed evenly between the central bank and commercial banks.
3. **Dollarization Increase**: The dollarization rate in Lebanon has surged above 90%, as the costs of services, purchases, and even taxes and fees have shifted from the Lebanese pound to the US dollar.
4. **Reducing Lebanese Pound Circulation**: The BDL continues its efforts to diminish the Lebanese pound's circulation, with the monetary mass decreasing from 75 trillion to 57 trillion pounds.
