وسيم منصوري ينفي صحة التصريحات المنسوبة إليه بشأن خسائر المودعين
أصدر حاكم مصرف لبنان بالإنابة، الدكتور وسيم منصوري، بياناً رسمياً أوضح فيه حقيقة ما تم تداوله عبر وسائل الإعلام ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، والذي زعم أنه صرح بضرورة “تقبل المودعين خسارة ودائعهم في المصارف”.
وجاء في البيان:
“إن هذه المقولة التي يتم تداولها لا تمت للحقيقة بصلة، ولا تعبر عن موقف حاكم مصرف لبنان بالإنابة أو المجلس المركزي بشأن هذا الملف الحساس. على العكس تماماً، فقد قدم الدكتور منصوري رؤيته الواضحة لمعالجة مسألة الودائع المصرفية في مناسبات عديدة، ولم تتضمن هذه الرؤية، بأي شكل من الأشكال، دعوة للمودعين لقبول أي خسارة أو تنازل عن حقوقهم.”
وأضاف:
“إن أي حديث أو تصريح يتم الاجتزاء منه بهذا الشكل يخرج عن سياقه الصحيح، خاصة في موضوع يتمتع بأهمية وحساسية كبيرة مثل هذا الملف. إن هذه المزاعم تتناقض تماماً مع المبادئ التي التزم بها حاكم مصرف لبنان بالإنابة منذ تسلمه مهامه وحتى اليوم.”
وختم البيان بالتوضيح:
“اقتضى التوضيح لوقف تداول هذه الأخبار المضللة، ولتأكيد أن مواقف الحاكم تستند دائماً إلى مبادئ تحفظ حقوق المودعين وتحمي النظام المالي في لبنان.”
Wasim Mansouri Denies Alleged Statements About Depositor Losses
The Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Dr. Wasim Mansouri, issued an official statement clarifying misleading reports circulating on media platforms and social networks, falsely claiming that he suggested depositors “accept losses on their bank deposits.”
The statement reads:
“These allegations are entirely false and do not reflect the stance of the Acting Governor or the Central Council on this sensitive matter. On the contrary, Dr. Mansouri has consistently presented a clear vision for addressing the issue of bank deposits on various occasions, and this vision has never included, in any way, a call for depositors to accept losses or compromises on their deposits.”
He further emphasized:
“Any fragmented or out-of-context representation of such an important and delicate issue is highly misleading. These claims directly contradict the principles and policies that the Acting Governor has upheld since assuming his duties.”
The statement concluded:
“This clarification is necessary to put an end to the dissemination of false information and to reaffirm that the Acting Governor remains committed to protecting depositor rights and ensuring the stability of Lebanon’s financial system.”
