جال عضو كتلة “التنمية والتحرير” النائب علي خريس على عدد من مراكز الاقتراع في مدينة صور، حيث تابع سير العملية الانتخابية البلدية والاختيارية عن كثب. وخلال زيارته لمركز باسل الأسد الثقافي في بلدة شمع، أكد خريس أن الانتخابات تمثل فرصة ذهبية لتجديد الالتزام الشعبي بالقضايا الوطنية والثوابت السياسية الراسخة.
وأشار إلى أن نحو 68% من بلدات محافظتي الجنوب والنبطية فازت بالتزكية، وهي أعلى نسبة على مستوى لبنان، ما يعكس دعمًا شعبيًا قويًا للمشروع الوطني، وتمسكًا بالأرض والوحدة الوطنية، ورغبة حثيثة في تعزيز الاستقرار والعودة إلى القرى.
وشدد النائب على حرية المواطنين في الإدلاء بأصواتهم، واعتبر هذا السلوك الديمقراطي النموذجي ردًا على محاولات العدو الإسرائيلي لتعكير الأجواء في أكثر من منطقة. وأكد أن المواطنين ثابتون على أرضهم، ولا يخشون التحديات.
ولفت خريس إلى أن السيارات تملأ الطرقات استجابة لنداء رئيس المجلس نبيه بري، في تحرك شعبي حقيقي لاستفتاء على التمسك بالعيش المشترك، الدولة، وضرورة انسحاب العدو الإسرائيلي.
وأضاف أن خيار حركة “أمل” وحلفائها يتمثل في بناء دولة قوية قادرة على فرض السيادة الوطنية، والدفع باتجاه تطبيق القرار الدولي 1701، الذي تنتهكه إسرائيل بشكل مستمر منذ 2006.
وأكد أن المهرجان الشعبي الذي يواكب الانتخابات دليل على صمود اللبنانيين وتمسكهم بهويتهم الوطنية، موجها رسالة واضحة بأن المواطن متمسك بخياراته وبمشروع الإمام القائد السيد موسى الصدر، مؤسس الدولة العادلة والمقاومة المتجذرة.
Amal MP Ali Kharis Highlights Popular Festival in South Lebanon and Strong National Commitment in Municipal Elections
Member of the “Development and Liberation” bloc, MP Ali Kharis, toured several polling stations in the city of Tyre, closely monitoring the municipal and local elections. During his visit to the Basil Al-Assad Cultural Center in Shama town, Kharis emphasized that these elections represent a golden opportunity to renew popular commitment to national issues and core political principles.
He pointed out that approximately 68% of municipalities in the South and Nabatieh governorates won by acclamation, the highest percentage nationwide. This reflects strong popular support for the national project, steadfast attachment to the land and national unity, and a keen desire to enhance stability and return to the villages.
The MP stressed the voters' freedom to cast their ballots and described this democratic behavior as a model response to Israeli attempts to disrupt the atmosphere in multiple regions. He affirmed that citizens stand firm on their land and face challenges without fear.
Kharis noted that roads were filled with vehicles responding to the call of Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, marking a genuine popular referendum on coexistence, statehood, and the necessity of Israeli withdrawal.
He added that Amal Movement and its allies are committed to building a strong state capable of enforcing national sovereignty and pushing for the implementation of UN Resolution 1701, which Israel continuously violates since 2006.
Kharis concluded that the popular festival accompanying the elections is a testament to the resilience of the Lebanese people and their firm hold on national identity, sending a clear message that citizens stand by their choices and the vision of Imam Leader Sayyed Musa Al-Sadr, the founder of the just state and rooted resistance.
