أثارت حادثة إخلاء مبنى قصر العدل في بعبدا، الذي يضم عدة مؤسسات حكومية مثل السجل التجاري، محكمة العمل، المحكمة العقارية، ودائرة تنفيذ بعبدا، قلقًا واسعًا بعد أن تم الكشف عن الحالة الإنشائية للمبنى. فقد تبين وفقًا للكشف الفني الأولي أن المبنى في حالة خطرة وآيل للسقوط.
وقد تم اتخاذ قرار فوري بإخلاء الموظفين والعاملين في المبنى كإجراء احترازي، في انتظار اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة من قبل الجهات الرسمية المختصة لمعالجة الوضع.
وفي هذا السياق، أكد المهندس رشاد سركيس الذي قام بالكشف الفني على المبنى لـ”ليبانون ديبايت”، أن المبنى لا يشكل خطرًا فوريًا على السلامة العامة، موضحًا: “لقد قمت بالكشف على المبنى وتبيّن أنه ليس آيلًا للسقوط بشكل فوري. وأنا أتحمل مسؤولية هذا الكلام، ولكن من المهم أن يتم تنفيذ أعمال صيانة ضرورية بشكل عاجل”.
وشدد سركيس على أهمية التعامل مع الموضوع بشكل هادئ بعيدًا عن التهويل، محذرًا من أن التسرع في إصدار الأحكام قد يؤدي إلى إرباك غير مبرر. وأشار إلى أنه قام بالكشف على المبنى منذ عدة أشهر وأعد تقريرًا رفعه إلى محافظ جبل لبنان محمود مكاوي، إلا أنه لم يُتخذ أي إجراء حينها.
Beyrouth Court Building Evacuation: Revealing the Truth Behind the Initial Claims
The evacuation of the Beirut Court building in Baabda, which houses the Commercial Register, Labor Court, Real Estate Court, and Baabda Execution Department, raised widespread concerns. The initial technical inspection revealed that the building is in a dangerous structural condition and is at risk of collapsing.
As a precautionary measure, the employees and workers were immediately evacuated, pending actions from the relevant official authorities to address the situation.
In this context, engineer Rashad Sarkis, who conducted the inspection, stated to “Lebanon Debate” that the building does not pose an immediate danger to public safety. He said: “I inspected the building, and it is not immediately at risk of collapse. I stand by this statement, but it is essential that urgent maintenance work be carried out without delay.”
Sarkis emphasized the need to handle the matter calmly and without exaggeration, warning that rushing to conclusions could cause unnecessary panic. He also noted that he had inspected the building months ago and had submitted a report to the Governor of Mount Lebanon, Mahmud Makkawi, but no action had been taken at the time.
