“برّي: العدوان الإسرائيلي على بيروت يشكّل استباحة جديدة للسيادة اللبنانية”
علّق رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه برّي على العدوان الإسرائيلي الأخير الذي استهدف محيط العاصمة بيروت، وبشكل خاص الضاحية الجنوبية، مؤكدًا أن ما جرى يشكّل “استباحة جديدة للسيادة اللبنانية ولقرارات الشرعية الدولية”. واعتبر برّي أن هذا العدوان هو “غاشم على قلب الوطن”، مؤكدًا أنه لا يمكن السكوت عنه.
وفي بيان له، أكد رئيس المجلس النيابي أن الموقف من هذه الاعتداءات “متطابق ومتوافق بالكامل مع موقف فخامة رئيس الجمهورية العماد جوزاف عون”، مشيرًا إلى أن هذا الموقف الوطني والسيادي يجب أن يشكّل “مظلة جامعة لكل اللبنانيين في مواجهة العدوانية الإسرائيلية المستمرة”.
وأضاف برّي: “هذا العدوان لا يستهدف طائفة أو منطقة بعينها، بل يطال لبنان بأكمله، ويطال اللبنانيين جميعًا، وحتى العرب والمسلمين في أقدس مقدساتهم عشية عيد الأضحى المبارك”.
واختتم برّي بالقول: “قدرنا في كل أضحى أن نقدّم الأضاحي دفاعًا عن لبنان وسيادته. ولن يحول العدوان بيننا وبين أعيادنا”.
“Berri: Israeli Aggression on Beirut Represents New Violation of Lebanese Sovereignty”
Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri commented on the recent Israeli aggression that targeted the vicinity of Beirut, particularly the southern suburbs, emphasizing that the attack represents “a new violation of Lebanese sovereignty and international legitimacy”. Berri described the attack as a “brutal assault on the heart of the nation,” stressing that it cannot go unaddressed.
In a statement, Berri noted that the position on these aggressions is “fully aligned and supportive of the stance of His Excellency President Michel Aoun,” pointing out that this national and sovereign stance should serve as “a unifying umbrella for all Lebanese in the face of ongoing Israeli aggression.”
Berri added, “This aggression does not target a specific sect or region, but rather impacts all of Lebanon, affecting all Lebanese citizens, as well as Arabs and Muslims in their holiest of sanctities on the eve of Eid al-Adha.”
He concluded by saying: “Our fate, every Eid, is to offer sacrifices in defense of Lebanon and its sovereignty. No aggression will prevent us from celebrating our holidays.”
