وتكشف الوثيقة عن معلومات تفيد بأن جهات إرهابية تخطط لإرسال بطاريات سيارات مفخخة عبر الحدود البرية الشمالية والشرقية مع لبنان. ويهدف الإرهابيون إلى إدخال هذه المواد المتفجرة إلى الأراضي اللبنانية لاستخدامها في تنفيذ أعمال إرهابية. وعلى ضوء هذه المعلومات، تم تعميم الوثيقة على الأجهزة الأمنية المختصة لمتابعة القضية واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لمنع أي محاولات قد تهدد الأمن والاستقرار.
وأكدت مصادر الأمن العام لـ”ليبانون ديبايت” أن المديرية تواصل اتخاذ التدابير الاحترازية اللازمة وتقوم بالعمليات الميدانية الضرورية بالتنسيق مع جميع الأجهزة الأمنية الأخرى، حرصًا على إحباط أي تهديد قد يمس بأمن لبنان الداخلي.
