The teacher will deliver one or more of the below activity:
- Basic Literacy and Numeracy (children aged 10– 14) classes;
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing qualitative educational support to the children benefiting from the educational programs.
- Planning and implementing lessons as per the directions of the Education Technical team; preparing materials requests for lessons (stationery, photocopies) one week in advance
- Preparing a file for each child as per the directions of the technical team, monitoring their educational and developmental progress, suggesting and implementing extra supportive actions where needed.
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for the child.
- Keeping an ongoing positive communication with the parents.
- Teaching and educating students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care.
- Deliver assessment methods that allow all students to engage with the curriculum and achieve their full potential (learner-centred methodology).
- Record each child’s classroom attendance, reporting any absences and highlighting any absences which require follow-up by the outreach staff.
- Support the CP and Edu focal points in conducting the life skills sessions.
- Actively supervise students when on playground duty.
- Responsible for submitting daily timesheet to the line manager
- Participate in the trainings and follow up meetings conducted by TDH It Team.
- Contributing to the ongoing operations of the centers in any other way required.
