Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Department: Program

Reports to: Executive Director

Summary:

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (M&E Officer) is responsible for the design, implementation, and reporting of the organization's monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system. The M&E Officer will work closely with program staff to ensure that the M&E system is aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. The M&E Officer will also be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making and improve program performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the organization's M&E system.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data.
• Prepare reports on program progress and impact.
• Support program staff in the use of M&E data
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's M&E policy and procedures.
• Stay up to date on M&E trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Business management, social science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in M&E in the Health sector
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to the principles of social justice and equity
• Desirable Qualifications:
• Experience with project cycle management
• Experience with qualitative research methods
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Fluency in a second language
