قطر تعلن دعمها للبنان في عملية إعادة الإعمار بعد وقف إطلاق النار

وفي سياق آخر، التقى الوزير بو حبيب أيضًا سفير دولة قطر في لبنان، الشيخ سعود بن عبد الرحمن آل ثاني. وقد أبلغه بترحيب دولة قطر بوقف إطلاق النار في المنطقة، وأشار إلى نية قطر تقديم دعم كبير للبنان في عملية إعادة الإعمار في هذه الفترة الحساسة التي يمر بها لبنان، بعد تضرره الكبير جراء الأحداث الأخيرة.

الوقوف إلى جانب لبنان في الأزمة

وأعرب بو حبيب عن شكره العميق لدولة قطر على “وقوفها إلى جانب الشعب اللبناني”، وأشاد بالمساعدات القطرية التي قدمت للبنان، والتي تجاوزت 2240 طنًا من المساعدات الإنسانية والطبية. تم إرسال هذه المساعدات عبر 20 طائرة قطرية، وفقًا لاحتياجات لبنان التي تم تحديدها من قبل السلطات اللبنانية المختصة.

كما أعرب الوزير عن امتنانه الكبير لدعم قطر في رعاية استشفاء الأطفال اللبنانيين الذين يحتاجون إلى عناية طبية خاصة، معربًا عن تقديره لقرار شركة الطيران القطرية استئناف رحلاتها إلى لبنان اعتبارًا من 9 كانون الأول 2024.

On November 11, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the Lebanese caretaker government, Abdullah Bou Habib, welcomed the newly appointed Turkish Chargé d'Affaires, Ambassador Murad Loutem, for an introductory visit. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments regarding the ceasefire and ways to enhance stability in Lebanon. They also explored the possibility of resuming Turkish Airlines flights to Beirut, with the Turkish ambassador promising to provide positive support in this area soon.

In another meeting, Bou Habib also met with the Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. The ambassador conveyed Qatar's approval of the ceasefire in the region and expressed Qatar's intent to assist Lebanon in the reconstruction process during this crucial period in Lebanon's history.

Standing By Lebanon Amidst the Crisis

Bou Habib thanked Qatar for its continuous support for the Lebanese people and praised the significant Qatari aid, which has surpassed 2,240 tons of humanitarian and medical supplies. These supplies were delivered via 20 Qatari planes, in line with the needs list provided by the Lebanese authorities.

Furthermore, Bou Habib expressed his gratitude for Qatar’s support in providing medical treatment for Lebanese children in need of specialized care and welcomed the decision by Qatar Airways to resume flights to Lebanon starting December 9, 2024.
