وأكدت الوزارة في بيان رسمي أن هذه الشكاوى تم جمعها من قبل الجهات المختصة على إثر مشاكل متعددة واجهتها المركبات بعد ملء خزاناتها بـ البنزين. كما أفادت الوزارة بأنها قامت بسحب وتحليل 807 عينات بنزين من محطات الوقود المنتشرة في أنحاء مصر.
وقد تبين أن 5 عينات فقط من بين العينات التي تم فحصها لم تكن مطابقة للمواصفات المحددة، ما يعكس وجود بعض الملوثات أو المشاكل في نوعية الوقود في بعض المناطق.
وفي إطار الإجراءات التصحيحية، أوضحت الوزارة أنه تم اتخاذ قرار مهم بعدم طرح أي وقود للاستهلاك إلا بعد إجراء تحاليل دقيقة في معملين مختلفين لضمان موافقة النتائج لمعايير الجودة، بدلاً من الاعتماد على معمل واحد فقط كما كان الحال في السابق.
تأتي هذه الخطوة في محاولة لضمان جودة الوقود وضمان استهلاك آمن للوقود من قبل المواطنين، مع التشديد على ضرورة تقديم خدمات عالية الجودة للمركبات في مختلف أنحاء البلاد. وصرحت الوزارة بأنها مستمرة في مراقبة الوقود بشكل دوري، وستستمر في اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان التزام المحطات بالمواصفات المقررة.
