رفضت الهيئة الاتهامية في بيروت طلب إخلاء سبيل حاكم مصرف لبنان السابق، رياض سلامة، في القضية المرفوعة ضده بتهم الفساد والاختلاس وتبييض الأموال والإثراء غير المشروع.
وجاء في قرار جديد صادر عن الهيئة الاتهامية برئاسة القاضي نسيب إيليا، حسب معلومات “ليبانون ديبايت”، أن الهيئة ردت استئناف سلامة بالإفراج عنه، مؤكدًة على بقاء سلامة موقوفًا، إلى جانب استمرار سريان مذكرة التوقيف بحق المحامي ميكي تويني.
كما حدد القاضي نسيب إيليا جلسة استماع لمحامي مروان عيسى الخوري، في إطار متابعة التحقيقات القضائية المتعلقة بالقضية.

Beirut Indictment Chamber Denies Release Request for Riad Salameh and Upholds Mikki Toini’s Arrest Warrant
The Beirut Indictment Chamber rejected the release request submitted by former Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh, in the case involving allegations of corruption, embezzlement, money laundering, and illicit enrichment.
According to a new decision issued by the Indictment Chamber headed by Judge Nassib Elia, as reported by Lebanon Debate, the chamber dismissed Salameh’s appeal for release, confirming that Salameh remains in custody. The arrest warrant against lawyer Mikki Toini remains active as well.
Judge Elia also scheduled a hearing for attorney Marwan Issa El Khoury as part of the ongoing judicial investigations related to this case.
