أدانت وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين اللبنانية بأشد العبارات العدوان الإسرائيلي الأخير الذي استهدف الأراضي الإيرانية، واعتبرت هذا الهجوم خرقًا فاضحًا للسيادة الوطنية الإيرانية، ومخالفة واضحة وصريحة للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة الذي ينص على احترام حقوق الدول وسلامتها الإقليمية.
وفي بيان صادر عن الوزارة، شددت على أن هذا الهجوم يشكل تصعيدًا خطيرًا يهدد استقرار المنطقة ويزيد من حدة التوترات العسكرية في الشرق الأوسط، مؤكدة أن مثل هذه الأعمال العدوانية يمكن أن تكون لها تداعيات سلبية ليس فقط على إيران، بل على أمن وسلامة لبنان والمنطقة بشكل عام.
وحذرت الوزارة من أن هذا التصعيد العسكري سيؤثر بشكل مباشر على الأمن والسلم في المنطقة، وستكون له عواقب غير محمودة إذا لم يتم التعامل مع الوضع بحذر وبموقف دبلوماسي صارم. وأكدت الوزارة أنها تتابع عن كثب جميع الاتصالات الدبلوماسية مع مختلف الأطراف الدولية لمنع تفاقم الأوضاع، وتجنيب لبنان أي تداعيات قد تكون ضارة به نتيجة هذا العدوان الإسرائيلي.
وأعربت الخارجية اللبنانية عن قلقها العميق إزاء هذه الأعمال التي تهدد الاستقرار الإقليمي، وطالبت المجتمع الدولي بالتدخل الفوري لوقف التصعيد وإعادة الأمن والسلام إلى المنطقة.
