في إطار الجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها قطعات قوى الأمن الداخلي للحد من عمليات النشل في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية، توافرت معلومات لدى شعبة المعلومات حول قيام شخصين مجهولين بتنفيذ عمليات نشل في بيروت وجبل لبنان. كان آخرها في تاريخ 2 يوليو 2025 حيث نفذا عمليتي نشل في منطقتين مختلفتين: برج البراجنة – الضاحية وعائشة بكار – بيروت.

أضاف البلاغ أنه تم تداول مقطع فيديو على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي يظهر المتهمين أثناء تنفيذهم العمليات المذكورة. على إثر ذلك، قامت القطعات المختصة في الشعبة باتخاذ الإجراءات الميدانية اللازمة، بالإضافة إلى التحريات الاستعلامية التي قادت إلى تحديد هويتي المتهمين.
تحديد هوية المتهمين واعتقال أحدهما
نتيجة للاستقصاءات المكثفة والتحقيقات المتواصلة، تمكّنت شعبة المعلومات من تحديد هويتي المتهمين. وكان من بينهم المدعو: ك. ر. (مواليد عام 1968، لبناني)، الذي يعتبر من أصحاب السوابق بجرائم السرقة وتعاطي المخدرات. على الفور، أعطيت الأوامر لتحديد مكانه وتوقيفه بالتنسيق مع القضاء المختص.
إلقاء القبض على المتهم وضبط المسروقات
بتاريخ 3 يوليو 2025، وبعد مراقبة دقيقة، تمكنت إحدى دوريات شعبة المعلومات من توقيف المتهم في منطقة برج البراجنة. كما تم ضبط بعض المسروقات بحوزته، من بينها ساعة يد وسُبحة وثلاث خواتم، بالإضافة إلى مبلغ مالي.
التحقيقات مع المتهم وكشف جرائمه السابقة
خلال التحقيقات، اعترف المدعى عليه بتنفيذ العديد من عمليات النشل في بيروت وجبل لبنان، بالاشتراك مع شخص آخر. كما اعترف بتعاطيه المخدرات.
الإجراءات القانونية المتخذة
تم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحق المتهم، وأُودِع مع المضبوطات لدى المرجع المعني، بناءً على إشارة القضاء المختص. وتستمر جهود قوى الأمن الداخلي لتوقيف شريك المتهم في الجرائم.

As part of the ongoing efforts by Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces to reduce pickpocketing operations across various Lebanese regions, information was gathered by the Information Branch about two unidentified individuals involved in pickpocketing activities in Beirut and Mount Lebanon. The most recent incidents occurred on July 2, 2025, where they carried out two pickpocketing operations in two distinct locations: Burj Barajneh – the southern suburbs and Aicha Bakar – Beirut.
Details of the Incident and Viral Video on Social Media
The statement added that a video was circulated on social media showing the suspects during the execution of the aforementioned operations. In response, the specialized units of the Information Branch began their field and investigative procedures to identify and arrest the suspects.
Identifying the Suspects and Arresting One of Them
Following extensive investigations and inquiries, the Information Branch was able to identify the suspects, one of whom is named: K. R. (born in 1968, Lebanese), who has a criminal history of theft and drug abuse. Orders were immediately given to locate and arrest him in coordination with the judiciary.
Arrest of the Suspect and Seizure of Stolen Items
On July 3, 2025, after careful surveillance, one of the Information Branch patrols successfully arrested the suspect in Burj Barajneh. The officers seized several stolen items from him, including a wristwatch, prayer beads, three rings, and a sum of money.
Investigation with the Suspect and Confession of Previous Crimes
During questioning, the suspect confessed to carrying out multiple pickpocketing operations in Beirut and Mount Lebanon in collaboration with another person. He also admitted to drug use.
Legal Procedures Taken
The necessary legal procedures were taken against the suspect, and he was handed over along with the seized items to the relevant authorities, as per the instructions of the competent judiciary. Efforts continue to arrest his accomplice.
