مطلوب مُحرر وكاتب – Editor & Writer للعمل لدى Peace of Art Ngo

The editor & writer is expected to produce a handbook and help with the production of a documentary titled “Interreligious Dialogue”:
– Coordinate online
– Set publication standards and establish goals and expectations
– Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with targeted audience’s preferences
– Oversee layout (artwork, design, photography) and check content for accuracy and errors
– Proofread, edit and improve stories, statistics and pieces
– Follow-up with feedback from administration and discuss and make edits based on comments
– Cooperate and liaise with designers, photographer, film maker, project manager, the leaders and the participants etc
– Comply with Peace of Art's ethical guidelines
– Meet tight deadlines
Requirements and skills:
– Proven working experience as an Editor
– Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills and an excellent portfolio
– Hands on experience with MS Office, Canva, Photoshop or other publishing tools
– Proven familiarity with social media best practices
– Excellent written skills in English & Arabic
– An eye for detail along with critical thinking
– Prioritizing and multitasking
– BS degree in Journalism or in related field
