General Description:
The Graphic Design Intern will be partnering with communication officers to support project objectives and requirements in conceptualizing new designs for offline and online (digital) materials and templates.
Objectives and Tasks:
- Coordinate with communication officers to discuss project objectives and requirements.
- Conceptualize new designs for offline and online (digital) materials and templates.
- Produce delegation-related stationery.
- Maintain brand consistency throughout their work.
- Offer new ideas and concepts clearly and effectively.
- Draw samples or mock-ups of the proposed layout or design or create a screen layout.
- Research the latest graphic design trends to produce new ideas and concepts.
General duties:
- Understands and adheres to the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
- Understands and adheres to the ICRC Code of Conduct.
- Understands the roles of the components of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
- Always respects and observes staff regulations and security rules.
- Always represents the ICRC in a professional manner.
- Develops and maintains a pleasant and conducive working environment with colleagues and line manager.
- Performs all duties with the highest level of confidentiality in the interest of the employees and the ICRC.
- May be asked to perform tasks not covered in this job description and to provide support to other colleagues when necessary.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Years of experience required: No professional experience required.
Level of education: Undergraduate or postgraduate with a bachelor’s degree.
Field of education: Graphic Design
Languages: Fluency in Arabic and English, French in as asset.
Computer Literacy: Advanced computer skills, mastery of digital graphic design and visual communication tools.

Job Details:
Job Location: Beirut, Lebanon.
Working Schedule: Monday till Friday, from 8 Am till 5 Pm (Flexible working hours)
Contract Type: Determined Period, 6 months (renewable based on performance and need for position)
Benefits: 13 USD/Working day.
