We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our healthcare team as a Nurse Supervisor and Quality Assurance Specialist. This dual-role position involves overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the highest standards of patient care while also contributing to the enhancement of our quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Nursing Supervision:
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Assign and delegate tasks, responsibilities, and patient care assignments to nursing personnel.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth.
Collaborate with HR in the recruitment, orientation, and training of new nursing staff members.
2. Quality Assurance:
Develop, implement, and oversee quality improvement programs to enhance patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
Monitor and evaluate nursing practices, patient assessments, and care plans to ensure adherence to established standards and protocols.
Collect and analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop action plans and strategies for addressing quality-related issues.
familliar with the Accreditation process (KPIs, MOPH checklists and guidelines, monitoring daily nurses processes in the phcc).
3. Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records, incidents, and quality improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular audits of patient records and nursing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
4. Staff Development and Training:
Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to promote clinical excellence and professional growth.
Facilitate in-service training sessions and workshops on quality improvement methodologies, infection control, and patient safety.
5. Communication and Collaboration:
Foster effective communication and collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and management, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and facilitating open communication.
6. Risk Management:
Participate in risk assessment activities and contribute to the development of strategies to minimize potential liabilities.
Investigate incidents, adverse events, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in nursing leadership, supervision, and quality assurance.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, standards, and quality improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
