وفق مراسل “ليبانون ديبايت”، وقع الإشكال الثاني في بلدة فرون – قضاء بنت جبيل، عقب دخول آليات أجنبية إلى البلدة دون تنسيق مسبق أو مرافقة من الجيش اللبناني، ما أثار احتجاجات شعبية دفعت إلى تطويق الحادث سريعًا.
وجاء هذا التطور بعد ساعات من حادثة مماثلة في بلدة ياطر المجاورة، حيث شهدت توترًا حادًا إثر دخول دورية مؤلفة من “اليونيفيل” إلى أحد أحياء البلدة دون إعلام الجيش اللبناني، ما اعتبره الأهالي خرقًا للأصول المعمول بها وتجاوزًا لصلاحيات القوة الدولية.
ووفق روايات شهود عيان، تصاعد الإشكال في ياطر إلى تلاسن حاد بين الأهالي وعناصر “اليونيفيل”، حيث أشهر بعض عناصرها أسلحتهم باتجاه المواطنين، ما زاد من حدة التوتر ورفع منسوب الغضب الشعبي.
وتدخلت قوة من الجيش اللبناني على الفور لاحتواء الوضع، والعمل بالتنسيق مع قيادة “اليونيفيل” لضبط الموقف ومنع تفاقم الأحداث.

Southern Lebanon witnessed two separate field tensions on Wednesday between residents of Fron and Yater towns and patrols of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), amid rising sensitivities between local populations and the international force deployed under Resolution 1701.
According to Lebanon Debate correspondent, the second incident occurred in Fron, Bint Jbeil district, following the entry of foreign vehicles into the town without prior coordination or accompaniment by the Lebanese army, sparking popular protests that quickly contained the incident.
This development came hours after a similar incident in nearby Yater town, where tensions escalated following the entry of a UNIFIL patrol into a neighborhood without notifying the Lebanese army, which locals considered a breach of established protocols and an overstep of the international force's authorities.
Eyewitness accounts reported that the incident in Yater escalated into a heated altercation between residents and UNIFIL personnel, some of whom brandished weapons toward citizens, further intensifying tensions and increasing public anger.
The Lebanese army promptly intervened to contain the situation, coordinating with UNIFIL leadership to stabilize the situation and prevent further escalation.
