أكد وزير الخارجية والمغتربين، يوسف رجّي، التمسك بسيادة الدولة اللبنانية واحتكارها للسلاح، رافضًا ما وصفه بـ”الثلاثية الخشبية” المتمثلة بـ”الجيش والشعب والمقاومة” التي أعلن أمين عام حزب الله، الشيخ نعيم قاسم، عنها. جاء ذلك في حديث مع “القدس العربي”، حيث أشار رجّي إلى أن الشعب اللبناني لم يعد يقبل بهذه المعادلة، مؤكدًا أن “الدولة اللبنانية لا تفاوض على سيادتها، وهذا تنظيم مسلح خارج عن القانون وليس شرعيًا”.
وأوضح رجّي أن بعض الأطراف ترفض حصرية السلاح في لبنان، مشيرًا إلى أن هذه المعارضة تهدف لمنع الدولة من فرض سيادتها على السلاح، مستعيرًا مثلًا لبنانيًا يعكس تحركات هؤلاء: “عم يحكوا الجارة حتى تسمع الكنّة”.
وأشار الوزير إلى تحسن العلاقات اللبنانية الخليجية بعد فترة من التوتر، معربًا عن أمله في عودة العلاقات إلى أفضل حالاتها، ومرحّبًا بمواقف رئيس السلطة الفلسطينية محمود عباس التي تحترم سيادة لبنان وتؤيد تسليم المخيمات للقوى الأمنية اللبنانية.
في ملف التشكيلات الدبلوماسية، أوضح رجّي أن الإجراءات تسير بوتيرة سريعة رغم بعض التأخير الإداري، متوقعًا إتمامها خلال أسابيع، معتبراً أن الوزارة حققت تقدماً ملحوظًا مقارنة بالفترات السابقة.
وبخصوص زيارة الموفدة الأميركية مورغان أورتاغوس، أكد رجّي عدم تحديد موعد رسمي بعد لكنه رجّح أن تتم خلال الأسبوعين القادمين، نافياً وجود استياء أميركي من بطء اتخاذ القرار في لبنان، لكنه حث على استغلال نافذة الدعم الدولي المتاحة.
ردًا على الاتهامات المتعلقة بالدبلوماسية الحزبية، وصف رجّي هذه الانتقادات بأنها غير دقيقة وتعكس مواقف سياسية ضده، مؤكدًا التزامه بالخط السياسي الذي يطالب بحصرية السلاح لصالح الدولة.
وختم رجّي بالتأكيد على أن قرار حصر السلاح بيد الدولة نهائي، معربًا عن أمله في تجاوب حركة “حماس” مع موقف السلطة الفلسطينية، مشددًا على حزم الدولة اللبنانية في الحفاظ على سيادتها.

Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji reaffirmed the state’s sovereignty and monopoly over arms, rejecting the so-called “army, people, resistance” triad declared by Hezbollah's deputy secretary-general Sheikh Naim Qassem. In an interview with Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Raffi stated that the Lebanese people no longer accept this formula, emphasizing that “the Lebanese state does not negotiate its sovereignty, and this is an illegal armed organization outside the law.”
Raffi explained that certain parties oppose the state’s monopoly on weapons to prevent it from enforcing its sovereignty, using a Lebanese proverb to describe their tactics: “They are whispering loud enough for the neighbor to hear.”
He highlighted the improvement in Lebanese-Gulf relations after a period of tension, expressing hope for a full restoration, and welcomed Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's stance respecting Lebanon’s sovereignty and supporting the handover of refugee camps to Lebanese security forces.
On diplomatic appointments, Rajji said that procedures are progressing rapidly despite some administrative delays, expecting completion within weeks, and noted significant progress compared to previous periods.
Regarding the upcoming visit of US envoy Morgan Ortagus, Rajji indicated no official date yet but anticipated it within the next two weeks, dismissing claims of American dissatisfaction with Lebanon's slow decision-making, while urging Lebanon to seize the available international support window.
Responding to accusations of partisan diplomacy, Rajji described these criticisms as inaccurate and politically motivated against him, affirming his commitment to a policy demanding exclusive state control over arms.
He concluded by stressing that the decision to monopolize weapons by the state is final, expressing hope that Hamas will align with the Palestinian Authority’s position, while underscoring Lebanon’s firm stance on preserving its sovereignty.
