لقاء نواف سلام مع لودريان: مناقشة التحديات السياسية والاقتصادية والعلاقات اللبنانية الفرنسية
استقبل رئيس مجلس الوزراء اللبناني نواف سلام، اليوم الثلاثاء في السرايا، المبعوث الخاص للرئيس الفرنسي جان إيف لودريان، بحضور السفير الفرنسي في لبنان هيرفيه ماغرو. وقد تناول اللقاء مستجدات الأوضاع السياسية والاقتصادية في لبنان، إضافة إلى التطورات في الجنوب في ظل استمرار الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على لبنان. كما تم بحث العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، في إطار تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين لبنان وفرنسا في مختلف المجالات.
وقد تطرّق الاجتماع إلى التحديات التي يواجهها لبنان على الصعيدين السياسي والاقتصادي، حيث أكد سلام ضرورة معالجة الملفات الحساسة في ظل الظروف الراهنة. كما تم بحث آخر التطورات الأمنية في الجنوب اللبناني وتداعيات الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية المتكررة على لبنان.
وفي سياق متصل، استقبل رئيس الحكومة نواف سلام وفداً من حزب “خط أحمر” برئاسة النائب وضاح الصادق، حيث تم مناقشة ثلاثة ملفات أساسية: الأول كان حول ملف السلاح وأهمية وجود خطة واضحة لإدارته في ظل استمرار الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية، والثاني تناول المخاوف من فرض ضرائب جديدة على المواطنين والقطاعات الاقتصادية في لبنان في ظل التهرب الضريبي المستمر، بينما كان الملف الثالث يتناول ضرورة محاسبة الفاسدين لمكافحة الفساد الذي يعصف بالبلاد.
كما التقى نواف سلام نائبة مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان ندى الناشف، والممثل الإقليمي لمكتب المفوض السامي لشؤون حقوق الإنسان في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا مازن شقورة. وتمحورت المناقشات حول سبل توثيق التعاون بين لبنان ومكتب المفوض السامي في مجالات حقوق الإنسان المختلفة، بما يعزز احترام حقوق المواطنين اللبنانيين.
Prime Minister Nohad Salam Meets Jean-Yves Le Drian: Discussion on Lebanon’s Political and Economic Challenges and Bilateral Relations
Lebanese Prime Minister Nohad Salam welcomed today, Tuesday, Jean-Yves Le Drian, the French President’s Special Envoy, at the Grand Serail, in the presence of the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro. The meeting focused on the latest political and economic developments in Lebanon, as well as the ongoing situation in the south amid Israel’s continued attacks on Lebanon. Discussions also covered the bilateral relations between Lebanon and France, aiming to strengthen cooperation between the two countries across various sectors.
The meeting addressed the challenges Lebanon faces on both political and economic fronts. Prime Minister Salam emphasized the importance of addressing critical issues in the current circumstances. Additionally, the latest security developments in southern Lebanon were discussed, alongside the consequences of the ongoing Israeli assaults on Lebanon.
In a related development, Prime Minister Salam also met with a delegation from the “Red Line” party, headed by MP Wadah Al-Saadek. They discussed three key issues: the first focused on the weapons issue and the need for a clear plan for its management amid the ongoing Israeli attacks. The second was concerned with the concerns about new taxes being imposed on citizens and economic sectors in Lebanon amidst ongoing tax evasion. The third issue was the necessity of holding corrupt individuals accountable to fight the widespread corruption in the country.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Salam met with UN Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights Nada Al-Nashif, and the Regional Representative of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Middle East and North Africa, Mazen Shakkoura. The discussions revolved around enhancing cooperation between Lebanon and the UN Human Rights Office in various fields, focusing on promoting respect for human rights in Lebanon.
