“كبسة” على مسامك طرابلس… وزارة الزراعة تضبط بيع أسماك صغيرة مخالفة لقوانين الصيد البحري!
في خطوة هامة ضمن الجهود الوطنية الرامية لتطبيق قانون تنظيم الصيد البحري وحماية الموارد البحرية، نفذت وزارة الزراعة – دائرة التنمية الريفية، بالتنسيق مع مصلحة زراعة الشمال، حملة ميدانية مفاجئة فجر اليوم على عدد من المسامك في نطاق مدينة طرابلس.
أسفرت هذه الحملة عن ضبط مخالفة جسيمة تمثلت في بيع أسماك صغيرة الحجم لا تستوفي القياسات القانونية المسموح بصيدها. وعلى الفور، تم تنظيم محضر ضبط بحق أحد أصحاب المسامك المخالفة، تمهيدًا لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة.
تؤكد وزارة الزراعة أن صيد الأسماك الصغيرة يعد انتهاكًا واضحًا لقواعد الصيد المستدام، وهو ما له تأثير سلبي مباشر على تجدد المخزون السمكي في البحر اللبناني. هذه الممارسات تؤدي إلى الإضرار بمصالح الصيادين الذين يعتمدون على هذه الثروة كأحد مصادر الرزق الأساسية لهم.
تندرج هذه الحملة ضمن خطة الوزارة لتعزيز الرقابة على الساحل اللبناني، وذلك بالتعاون مع الجهات الأمنية والبلديات، بهدف ضمان احترام القوانين البيئية وحماية التوازن الإيكولوجي في البحر. كما تدعو الوزارة جميع الصيادين وأصحاب المسامك إلى الالتزام التام بالقوانين والأنظمة المعمول بها، حفاظًا على الثروة البحرية ومصالحهم الاقتصادية في آن واحد.
وتؤكد وزارة الزراعة أن حملات الرقابة والتفتيش ستستمر بوتيرة متصاعدة في مختلف المناطق اللبنانية، لضمان استدامة الثروة السمكية في البحر اللبناني.
“Raid” on Tripoli Fish Markets… Agriculture Ministry Catches Sellers of Illegal Small Fish!
As part of the national efforts to enforce the Fisheries Law and protect marine resources, the Ministry of Agriculture – Rural Development Department, in coordination with the Northern Agricultural Office, carried out a surprise field campaign early this morning targeting several fish markets in the city of Tripoli.
The campaign resulted in the discovery of a significant violation, where small-sized fish, not meeting the legal size regulations for fishing, were being sold. Immediately, a violation report was filed against one of the fish market owners involved, and legal actions are underway.
The Ministry of Agriculture emphasizes that catching small fish is a clear violation of sustainable fishing practices, as it has a direct negative impact on the replenishment of fish stocks in Lebanese waters. Such activities harm the livelihoods of fishermen who rely on this resource for their primary source of income.
This action is part of the ministry's strategy to enhance surveillance along the Lebanese coast, in collaboration with security forces and municipalities, to ensure compliance with environmental laws and preserve the ecological balance of the sea. The ministry also urges all fishermen and fish market owners to fully comply with the applicable laws and regulations, in order to protect both marine resources and their economic interests.
The Ministry of Agriculture assures that the inspection and monitoring campaigns will continue at an increasing pace throughout Lebanon to ensure the sustainability of the country’s fish stocks.
