Job Overview:

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Career Development Supervisor who will oversee employment services for IRC participants, including vocational training and employment services (VTES). The position will ensure program goals are met, lead quality control for both service delivery and contractual compliance, supervise a team of staff and AmeriCorps members, and serve as a liaison for workforce training and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff Management:

   • Provide leadership, support, and supervision to direct service staff through team meetings, individual supervision, coaching, and goal-setting.
   • Ensure the employment team complies with all IRC policies, procedures, and protocols.

2. Client Services:

   • Oversee the implementation and management of programs to ensure that all requirements are met according to IRC standards.
   • Track enrolled clients using IRC's proprietary database systems to ensure timely service delivery and accurate documentation.
   • Address challenging cases with timely, professional interventions to ensure service provision is appropriate.
   • Promote gender equality by increasing access for female participants.
   • Build long-term relationships with local employers and community partners to identify job opportunities for participants.

3. Program Oversight:

   • Ensure all programs meet the documentation, case files, and data tracking requirements of both funders and IRC.
   • Perform quality assurance by conducting periodic case file reviews and monitoring progress toward program performance requirements.
   • Produce high-quality program reports for IRC headquarters and funders on time.
   • Assist with grant writing and the development of new program opportunities.

4. Team and Office Participation:

   • Participate in program meetings and staff development activities.
   • Work collaboratively with other team members to provide comprehensive, strength-based services to IRC clients.
   • Represent IRC’s Economic Empowerment program in the community and maintain strategic partnerships with organizations such as workforce boards, chambers of commerce, small business experts, and local employers.

Job Requirements:

1. Education:

   • University degree preferred, ideally in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

2. Experience:

   • Minimum of three years of experience in securing employment opportunities for clients, either in refugee resettlement, workforce development, or related social services.
   • Experience supervising and training staff.

3. Skills and Competencies:

   • Proven ability to create an organizational culture that reflects IRC's core values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality.
   • Demonstrated effectiveness in a multi-cultural environment.
   • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines.
   • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages spoken by IRC client populations is a plus.
   • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
   • Valid driver’s license, access to a personal, insured vehicle, and the ability to travel regularly within the service delivery area.

4. Working Environment:

   • A combination of office-based work, remote work, and field activities within the service area.
   • Some weekend or evening work may be required.

المتطلبات:

1. التعليم:

   • درجة جامعية مفضلة في العمل الاجتماعي أو الخدمات الإنسانية أو أي مجال دراسي ذي صلة، أو خبرة عملية معادلة.

2. الخبرة:
